FREE printable Camping themed pattern sheets for preschool kids. Perfect for different skill levels and can be differentiated easily. Fun math activity for camping fans!

Print as many pattern mats as you need for the number of groups in your class. If you are using these in a center, it’s a great idea if you have an extra set just in case you want another group to get started on the sheets. There are 10 (40 strips) pattern mats in total.  They are all in color but you can print these in B&W although it isn’t recommended as part of the activity is to identify the next color and image.

These FREE camping patterns will help your kids begin to identify simple patterns. Identifying patterns in preschool is essential for developing important critical thinking skills. These pattern mats include AB, AABB, ABB, AAB, and ABC patterns with familiar camping themed images that kids can identify or even learn through this activity. Demonstrate completing one mat to show the kids what they need to do, then have them try to do it by themselves.

This pack is perfect for differentiating based on each child's skill level. You give one pattern at a time by pre-cutting them all into individual strips, or you can give entire sheets out. You can have the answer pieces pre-cut or let the child cut & paste on their own.
