4th of July Alphabet Game for Preschoolers

My kids' favorite way to celebrate 4th of July is by watching the fireworks. That was the inspiration for this free printable Alphabet matching game for preschoolers!

Kids will love practicing their ABC's with this fun printable game for 4th of July. It includes both uppercase and lowercase letters.

Prepping the Game

  • Choose whether the child will match uppercase letters, lowercase letters, or uppercase to lowercase.
  • Print pages with fireworks, which contain 13 letters per page. Also print out the letter cards featuring clipart of kids. 
  • Laminate if you wish.
  • Depending on the age and skill level of your child, they can play with 1 sheet (13 letters) or both sheets (all 26 letters).

How to Play Alphabet Game

Mix up the cards and place them face down in a pile. Children can pick up one card at a time, read the letter, then place a counter on (or color with dot marker) the matching letter over the image of the fireworks.
