School always seems less fun in the summer so these puzzles won't even feel like school when you bring them out, make it a game and they won't realize they're doing school.

Who doesn't love the beach, the warm weather, ocean breeze and ocean animals are a fun sight to be had. Memories are formed at the beach, I know our family could live there if we had the chance. You can go swimming or build sand castles and chase the waves. Bring the beach to you with these adorable counting puzzles.

Beach Counting Puzzles Supplies

Print out the puzzles onto paper or card stock if you'd like them to be more durable. If you'd like them to last, I suggest you laminate them or cover them in contact paper. Then cut them up along the dotted lines, now they are ready to use. Store these puzzles in ziploc bags to be able to use them again.

To extend this activity, read books about the beach, ocean or ocean animals. Take a trip to the beach to collect seashells and observe beach life. What animals do they see? What bugs can they spot? Take pictures of the newfound friends so they can bring them home to identify them. Create ocean animal crafts out of paper plates or toilet paper rolls to use whatever supplies you have lying around your home.

Bring the beach theme into your home until the next beach trip.
