Shells on the Beach: Counting Cards

Every time our family goes to the beach, the kids end up collecting sea shells and bringing them home. They spontaneously start counting and sorting the shells, which is what inspired me to make these beach themed counting cards!

Use these FREE printable counting cards with sea shells from the beach, for a hands-on counting activity that teaches number recognition and one to one correspondence.

These FREE counting cards include numbers 1-12. They are great for kids to practice counting, number recognition and one to one correspondence.

If you don't have access to the beach, you can purchase sea shells at your local craft store or at the affiliate link below:

  4. Good morning,
Thank you for sharing your activities. They’ve been very helpful. These are great one on one or small group activities. Do you have an option to make these as placemats…a single page with each number individually? When I downloaded them, they’re 4 on a sheet which makes them too small for seashells. Thank you for all you do?
