ABC Matching for Groundhog Day
Before starting this activity you will need to get alphabet stickers or plain round stickers and write letters on them. You can get both at any dollar store or office supply store, or online here.
The kids will choose a dot sticker with the matching letter, then stick it on the groundhog's shadow. They continue to do this until they match all of the alphabet.
This can be a great group activity with kids taking turns finding the matching letters, but it also makes for a fun individual alphabet learning game as well.
