This FREE Easter printable consists of 12 bunny paw prints, with 3 toes on each paw. The object of the activity is for the child to match the number, number word, and dot representation to the correct paw print. Each paw print has a certain number of bunnies. The child will count the bunnies and then match the correct toes on the paw.

Instructions for use:
Print and laminate the toes (the ovals with the dotted lines). Add Velcro dots to the back of the toes and the top of the paws to help them stick better.
Ways to play:
- Paws can be cut out individually and laminated to create cards for matching.
- Or they can be added to a file folder to create a file folder matching activity. You can put one on each page on the inside and then one on the back of the folder to include all three pages on the file folder.
- Print and laminate the paws themselves to use as counting cards. The child can count the number of bunnies on each paw and place them in numerical order.
- Cut out and laminate the paw prints to the ground to create a path for the kids to follow in a fun game of follow the numbers.

ReplyDeleteThe Easter bunny number-matching idea is so adorable — thanks for sharing! I tried something similar with my younger cousin last spring: we drew little bunny paws on index cards and used jelly beans to match numbers — total hit. While gathering supplies, I actually looked up Checks Unlimited phone number (just curious about their check order policy 😄) — ended up ordering a few fun Easter-themed checks to match the mood. It’s funny how small touches like number matching and themed checks can make everyday tasks feel special, especially for kids. Makes simple math feel like a holiday adventure.
