This patriotic I Spy activity is a fun, no-prep, printable game that kids will love to play around 4th of July/Independence Day. It is great for building visual discrimination skills as well as counting and writing practice. With red, white and blue stars, hats, flags and fireworks, it is sure to be a hit in the classroom or at home!

Supplies Needed:
- Printer
- Paper
- Laminator (optional)
- Magnifying Glass (optional)
- Pencil
I recommend giving your kids a magnifying glass to find some of the very small images, which adds an extra level of fun and mystery to the game.
Kids can use a pencil (or dry-erase marker if sheet is laminated) to cross off each image as they count, then they write the final number at the bottom of the sheet.

ReplyDeleteThis is a fun way to keep kids engaged! Have you considered adding variations to the counting game? Perhaps a timed challenge, or even incorporating color recognition. You could even introduce them to Uno Online afterwards – a completely different type of game that challenges their strategic thinking in a fun and colorful way. It’s a good brain break after all that focused counting!
