To prepare:
Print all pages in color or greyscale and then laminate them (you will be glad you did after the kids get their hands on the mats 😉). This can be great to turn into a file folder game. Place the pieces into a ziplock bag and store inside the file folder.

Alphabet Match Teeth Flossing
This ABC activity is so much fun for pre-schoolers and kindergarten kids alike. Once you’ve laminated the mats and the pieces. Place the cards in an envelope (or inside the file folder if you’re using one). I use rubber bands on my cards to keep them in place. This is also optional but you can add Velcro to each alphabet floss card on the folder along with the matching set cards. It’s really totally optional! You could totally differentiate this activity depending on the level of the students in your group. Kids can work on matching their uppercase – lowercase letters or they can match uppercase – uppercase letters. A great way for kids to practice letter recognition.
What a great activity to use during Dental Health month/week (usually in February) or any time of the year to reinforce letters as well as keeping your teeth clean and healthy!
