CVC Rhyming Words Task Cards Hen and Eggs
I love using printable task cards, and I know once you try them you will be hooked too! – they are so much fun for kids and best of all, they are quick to setup and play and they can be used and re-used throughout the year!
Use these cards to help kids learn to identify rhyming CVC words. We know that with learning, repetition and practice is key. These rhyming task cards will work perfectly in your literacy centers or even in your home-school.
You can choose to laminate the cards and have the kids use either dry erase markers OR pegs/clothes pins to identify the rhyming words. There are 12 cards already filled with words, PLUS a blank editable page which you can add your own CVC words to. There are also black and white versions of the cards if you prefer not to print in colour. With these black and white cards, kids can use dot markers to identify the rhyming sounds.
Be sure to have the kids read the CVC word before they choose to identify the matching rhyming word. These are great for a Spring theme, Farm theme or any time of the year!
