Christmas Alphabet Clip Strips

Encourage your preschoolers to practice letter recognition and handwriting with these holiday-themed alphabet clip strips. They're perfect for your literacy activities this month!

FREE printable Christmas themed alphabet activity for preschoolers to practice letter recognition and letter tracing, as well as fine motor skills with clips. Fun holiday literacy activity!

This preschool alphabet activity is perfect for your upcoming Christmas homeschool preschool activitiesTo get this activity started, all you'll need to do is print the pages, laminate them, and cut the strips apart. Gather some paper clips or clothespins, and you're all set. I recommend printing the pages on cardstock and laminating them before you cut them out. This will make your activity pack more durable, and will help the cards stand up to hours of reading practice.

Alphabet Clip Strips

These clip strips are a great way to provide your preschoolers repeated practice opportunities with letter recognition and handwriting. As your little ones search for the featured letter, they'll be working on visual discrimination, as well.

This pack features 26 clip strips - one for each letter of the alphabet. Children will identify the letter on the Christmas tree in the top box. Then, they will look for the same letter amongst four letters (on Christmas gifts) in the boxes below. Each letter will have an uppercase and a lowercase letter to clip.

In the last box, there is a writing line. Kids can practice writing the featured letters (uppercase, lowercase, or both) on the writing line.  For beginning writers, you may want to write the letters on the clip strips before you laminate them. Then, have your preschooler trace the letter you wrote instead of writing it on their own.
