This preschool alphabet activity is perfect for your upcoming Christmas homeschool preschool activities. To get this activity started, all you'll need to do is print the pages, laminate them, and cut the strips apart. Gather some paper clips or clothespins, and you're all set.
I recommend printing the pages on cardstock and laminating them before you cut them out. This will make your activity pack more durable, and will help the cards stand up to hours of reading practice.
Alphabet Clip Strips
These clip strips are a great way to provide your preschoolers repeated practice opportunities with letter recognition and handwriting. As your little ones search for the featured letter, they'll be working on visual discrimination, as well.In the last box, there is a writing line. Kids can practice writing the featured letters (uppercase, lowercase, or both) on the writing line. For beginning writers, you may want to write the letters on the clip strips before you laminate them. Then, have your preschooler trace the letter you wrote instead of writing it on their own.

ReplyDeleteSeeing this post about Christmas Alphabet Clip Strips immediately inspired me to try them with my two young children. We’ve been using various festive materials for the past few weeks to learn the alphabet, and the kids are absolutely loving the games and activities. To make the learning even more engaging, I started recording short home videos where we practice letters, sing songs, and play with these clip strips together. The best tool for this has been https://www.movavi.com/tools/free-movie-maker/ . The program is incredibly easy to use, letting me quickly edit clips, add text, music, and fun effects. Now our home videos look bright and professional, and the children watch them with joy, remembering the material much better. This turned simple learning moments into a real family celebration and creative time together.
